XC Wraps Up With a Virtual 5k

The boys and girls XC season ended with a virtual 5k race on the track. The entire Northwest Conference participated in this culminating race, with each team competing on their own track against their own team. Each team submitted their times online, and the results were compiled on after every team ran their race.

XC Win Over LC

The Cross Country boys and girls teams raced against the Lynden Christian Lyncs and won decisive TEAM victories on Thursday, March 11. The 5km race took place at Lynden High’s home course at the high school. While LC claimed the top finishes for both boys’ and girls’ races respectively, the Lions still claimed TEAM victory

Tough Race at Sedro Woolley

The Boys and Girls XC teams raced at Northern State Recreation Area in Sedro Woolley against the bear cubs last week, March 3. The cubs edged out the Lions with a Team score of 22 to 33 for boys and 17 to 38 for girls in the 5000m race. The boys top runner was Caleb

XC Shutout against NVHS

The Lynden Lions shutout the Nooksack Pioneers in a dual meet on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The course was located at Ramstead Park in Everson, WA and was approximately 2 miles. The Boys and Girls teams both scored a perfect score of 15 with both teams securing the top three spots in the race. Anna Ellis
